RiverWoods, a continuing care retirement community in Lewisburg, PA, offers a full range of living options including independent living in our cottages and apartments, personal care, skilled nursing care, dedicated memory care and short-term rehabilitation and transitional care. It is part of Albright Care Services, a not-for profit organization that has been caring for seniors in Central Pennsylvania for over 100 years.
At RiverWoods, we are looking for a memory care program manager to plan, direct and coordinate programming in our Memory Care. The memory care program manager:

  • Organizes the functions of the Memory Care, including the scheduling of employees;
  • Participates in the pre-admission screening of our potential new residents and designs an exciting life enrichment program to meet each resident's individual needs and interests;
  • Selects, orients, trains, develops and coaches all Memory Care employees;
  • Ensures that all required program documentation is kept up-to-date and completed accurately.

The starting hourly rate for this position depends on experience but typically ranges from $15.50 to $19.00.

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in recreation therapy, recreation, social work, gerontology or a related field, or the equivalent in experience and training.
  • At least three years of experience working with Dementia programming / enrichment or program development.
  • Certified Recreational Therapist preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
