Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Companionship and conversation Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation Medication and appointment reminders Assistance with grooming and bathing Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues Alzheimer's Care Requirements to be a CAREGiver: Ability to lift, pull or push 25lbs Ability to stand, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, reach and maneuver steps Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner Must be a least 18 years of age Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen Have Reliable transportation Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients) Possess a High School Diploma or GED preferred No previous experience necessary - paid skills training provided by Home Instead Senior Care Become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
