Job Duties:
Management and Programmatic:
o Serves as a member of the Marketing Strategy and Outreach senior management team which requires close collaboration with the Executive Director on implementation and ongoing analysis of annual operating plans as well as assisting the Executive Director in managing day-to-day operations. o Responsible for the planning and implementation of a comprehensive multi-channel fundraising strategy and calendar that follows donor preference. Ensures all efforts communicate consistent messaging and are timed appropriately. Closely collaborates with other departments to ensure appropriate timing and audience. o Effectively manages staff including hiring, retaining, developing and coaching while aligning efforts with Bucknell and University Advancement strategic initiatives, policies, and procedures. o Oversees Student Calling Program strategy and the Assistant Director. Provides leadership, monitors goals and provides performance feedback and coaching. o Oversees development, execution and results tracking of all direct mail, email, student calling, texting, and social appeals. o Serves as a liaison to internal and external partnerships including, vendor relationships, and cross-disciplinary teams. o Develops overall program and specific segment donor and financial targets to drive activity for participation and dollars. o Incorporates donor lifecycle into comprehensive messaging plan, with a focus on stewardship and retention. o Provides ongoing tracking toward goals, objectives, and schedules. Closely reviews progress and recommends and implements data-informed strategies to improve performance. o Coordinates and collaborates with University Advancement partners to increase dollars and participation for fundraising programs, including Young Alumni, Faculty/Staff, Student Philanthropy, and Reunion, and through event follow-up. o Supports budget management and development, especially as it pertains to direct report(s). o Leads large, collaborative projects (e.g. giving day) and represents Annual Fund in discussions about digital platforms, strategies, and projects. o Oversees the Marketing & Communications functional area (MarComm) of Blackbaud CRM. Partners with AIS to continuously improve and optimize use of MarComm. Reporting & Analytics:
o Provides ongoing tracking of goals, objectives, schedules and communications for all Annual Fund initiatives. o Analyzes initiatives, provides year over year comparisons, trends and recommendations for improvement. o Provides ongoing tracking of expenses and return on investment for initiatives. o Work closely with AIS to develop, create, and produce reports on financial, participation, and programmatic progress. Review reports to implement data-informed strategies to improve results. General:
o Participates in division-wide and University-wide events, committees, and project teams to advance priority projects of the University. o Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree and five years of fundraising or closely related experience (the individual must demonstrate how the essential functions will be performed using a combination of skills and experience) OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience totaling at least nine (9) years o Two years of personnel, volunteer, or program management experience with demonstrated success o Two years of experience with Student Calling, Telemarketing, or closely related experience o Two years of experience with direct marketing in a non-profit environment o Demonstrates ability to develop and implement strategic and tactical plans, work within tight timelines, both independently and in a team environment o Demonstrates analytical skills, preferably related to fundraising/marketing campaigns and ability to determine and implement data-driven strategies o Demonstrates familiarity with CRM systems, ability to develop strategic plans, set objectives, and achieve program goals o Demonstrates organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks concurrently o Displays proficiency with electronic tools including email, calendar software, various databases, and Microsoft Office suite o Effective written and oral communication skills o Demonstrates proficiency and experience with fundraising projections, prospect forecasting, and prospect management tools o Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills including diplomacy and tact, ability to interface professionally, and tailor communications to diverse audiences, and to maintain confidentiality.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Brand Marketing & ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
